Miguel & Maria at Marikina: First visit #FAIL

By |July 20th, 2015|Food, Reviews|0 Comments

It was one of those chill weekends… just wanted to try a new place for lunch. Good thing we live near Lilac St. of Marikina, a foodie destination in our area.

Miguel & Maria looks very posh from outside the street.  Their black and white logo and muted fascade has a very nice curb appeal. I haven’t […]

Beeffalo: Ribs and a Whole Lot More

By |July 10th, 2015|Food, Reviews|0 Comments

Not long after reading several reviews online for foodie restaurants in Marikina, we decided to check out a beef joint aptly named Beeffalo. It’s located in Marikina, along Mayor Gil Fernando Ave., way past Blue Wave. It’s one of those places that you wouldn’t ordinarily pass by going somewhere else because it’s not really near anything else. However, […]

Want to work on social media?

We’ve had this requirement for a while now but we just haven’t found the right person for the job. Whether you’re unemployed, underemployed or just looking for something a bit more interesting… you might want to consider working for the #1 cable operator in the country.

Or, send me a message and I’ll pass your resume along.

Driving and the goodness of people (a fable)

By |September 6th, 2014|Personal, Ramblings|0 Comments

A week ago I got into a small vehicular accident. I was driving along white plains in the correct lane when a black car hit me on my left. Driver Christian Eustaquio didn’t have any license to show and said I was too fast in my own lane (even if he was the one that […]

Back for the nth time

By |February 12th, 2014|Personal|0 Comments

It’s been a while since I actually wrote something on this blog. Truth be told, I’m starting to miss writing… something I admit that I didn’t think would happen again.

This time, I think I will commit to it.  Blogging, that is.

Why haven’t I blogged as much as I did when I was in my early […]

Kikay afternoon at Azta Urban Salon

By |September 24th, 2012|Kikay|0 Comments

In the past few weeks I’ve been on a kikay binge… Shopping for clothes, make-up, perfume and what-not.

I’ve recently been thinking of what to do with my hair – it’s been looking more and more boring as the weeks go by. Get more layers perhaps? A digiperm? Got the answer a few days ago when my colleagues started talking about getting Ombre hair and I thought “why not?” And so off I went and googled for a couple of hair inspirations:

I fell in love and knew I just had to get an ombre look (some call it dip-dyed hair). Azta Urban Salon was one of the more popular choices for ombre and after looking at their prices I just took the plunge.

Disney Jr. Auditions

By |August 25th, 2012|Entertainment|3 Comments

I haven’t blogged in a loooong time and I don’t normally post announcements but this is too interesting to pass up. If you’ve got adorable kids (or know of any) between 4 to 7yo, you might be interested in having them audition to be part of a TV plug for Disney Jr’s Talk Like a […]

Quick and Easy-to-do Mustard Sauce for Meats

By |May 1st, 2012|Food|0 Comments

I was hanging at my sister’s place when dinner time rolled by so I looked in the fridge and the pantry to see what I can come up with. It was a nightmare. I had pork steak slices which I bought in the afternoon but there was practically nothing else available – no pepper, no […]

Words to live by this 2012: Spontaneity and Adventure

By |January 14th, 2012|Ramblings, Travel|0 Comments

I have never been one to travel without any plans. In the past years I’ve always made detailed itineraries and read a gazillion of reviews online before heading off to some place I’ve never been to before.  Not this time. […]
